Jaire Alexander is a cornerback for the National Football League’s Green Bay Packers (NFL).
Despite playing over 600 coverage snaps, including the postseason, Alexander allowed only 353 receiving yards against his coverage, according to PFF. He entered the 2021 season as the site’s top-ranked perimeter cornerback.
Alexander attended Louisville from 2015 to 2017 and played for head coach Bobby Petrino.
He had 77 tackles and seven interceptions in his career. Alexander was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the first round (18th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft.
According to Pro Football Focus, he finished the 2020 season as the NFL’s No. 1 cornerback. Alexander became the only cornerback since 2006 to allow negative yards in a playoff game (three yards) in the Division Playoffs against the Los Angeles Rams.
