Resident Evil Village is one of the biggest games of the year, but if you’re not a fan of first-person action, you might have skipped this one. Thankfully, a new mod means you can enjoy the terror of Resident Evil Village in a third-person perspective!
As spotted by ComicBook, modder and YouTuber FluffyQuack has created a mod which re-imagines Resident Evil Village in third-person instead of first. What this means is that we’re getting a more detailed look at the playable protagonist Ethan Winters as he goes about his mission to rescue his baby daughter, Rose. It even works with The Mercenaries mode!
The mod, which is only available for PC, offers a whole new spin on the iconic Village gameplay, and it’s well worth checking out. The mod can be downloaded via FluffyQuack’s Patreon – just use the instructions below!
Go to the “Downloads” section and download the “Third Person Assets” mod
Install that mod
Run the game
Click on “Trainer” button in the mod manager
Activate “Third person” in the mod manager
FluffyQuack on PatreonFluffyQuack adds that you’ll be able to switch between the game’s natural first-person perspective and the mod’s third-person view with “Ctrl and T”.
If you’re keen to check out some third-person Resident Evil Village action, you can have a look at the mod’s gameplay video below!
